Barbarossa beach

Barbarossa is a beautiful beach of fine gravel mixed with sand. Quite busy because it is the largest beach nearby Porto Azzurro. The myth says that the name comes from the famous pirate, who used to find shelter here with his ships, during the incursions of the island.

How to get there:
It can be reached from the provincial road that leads from Porto Azzurro to Rio Marina. The deviation on the right is about 1,400 meters from the port.

Reale beach

Reale is a wide beach of 110 meters of sand mixed with fine gravel. The sea is clear and ideal for snorkeling and the place is equipped with infrastructures and tourist services that offer different comforts. On the side left of the beach there is a free parking lot.

How to get there:
You can reach it by taking the Porto Azzurro-Rio Marina road and after about 2 km turning on the right and following the indication to Capo D’Arco-Reale.
